Glory Hole Foundation was a bait and switch shock site which disguised itself as a nonprofit golf and country club community made by the Prank Call Nation. The site even had a YouTube[1], Twitter[2], Facebook[3] and Google+[4] account to further disguise itself as a trustworthy website.
The website has a white background displaying the Glory Hole Foundation logo above a green "Enter Website" button. Once the button was clicked, the site displayed a short GIF of two naked men engaging in anal sex while one of them cums, accompanied by loud audio of a man moaning. There is also a malicious script that opened a popup window that duplicates itself and bounces around the screen, displaying the same GIF shown on the main page. The viewer could easily leave the site by using Task Manager to exit the browser.
Origin
The website, created in early 2015 and registered on October 12th, 2014[5], was an invention of "Prank Call Nation", who initially used it to pull pranks on unsuspecting victims. It quickly found its way onto popular streaming platforms like Twitch, where it was used in bait and switch tricks, designed to mislead people into believing that Glory Hole Foundation was a legitimate not-for-profit entity. Users on 4chan eventually uncovered the site and began to use it to pull similar pranks on Twitch streamers, similar to Onche.fr.
Glory Hole Foundation also launched a second website, called "Desk Corporate IT". This site was targeted at people interested in technology and had the same method as the main site. If the "Enter Website" button was clicked, the viewer would be shown the same shocking content as the first site.
