Happy Mouse is a screamer game uploaded to Gamejolt by EnclaveG on November 14, 2013. The game is an obvious parody of the creepypasta, Suicide Mouse. An improved version of the game titled Really Happy Mouse was released on October 31, 2014.
The game starts up with the title screen of the game that has Mickey under a light, with his back to the player. The text above him reads: "HAPPY MOUSE" with text below it saying, "MACHEN SIE FROH MICKEY" (MAKE MICKEY GLAD). If the player doesn’t press Enter for a few minutes on the title screen, there is a chance that it will suddenly change to a distorted Mickey Mouse head with his eyes blacked out and his mouth opened wide with sharp teeth. This is accompanied by a loud, distorted scream. There is text under and above his head that reads: "HAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA," Presumably mocking the player. After this, in the latter game, it would cut to a realistic Mickey head with his eyes bloodshot and with human teeth. The text below him will read "KEEP MICKEY HAPPY".

The background shows buildings becoming disturbingly realistic, having four eyes and a mouth with upper teeth hanging down. The sky becomes completely black, with gates beside buildings. Goofy, Donald, and Pluto become even more distorted and monstrous, while Minnie, still the only one not distorted, is now covering her eyes and crying in agony. The music remains the same as the previous sanity phase.
* At 19%–1%, everything stays the same as the previous sanity stage, except Mickey is now covered in blood (which shouldn’t even be possible since most rubber-hose/old cartoons were black and white), implying he might have murdered someone. His speed increases even more (similar to some suicidemouse.avi remakes). Several bloody piles of corpses appear on the ground as bloody rain falls. Goofy, Donald, and Pluto stay monstrous, and Minnie is now dead, with her bloody corpse shown as well. The song playing during this sanity meter remains the same as the previous sanity.
If Mickey’s sanity drops to 0%, the screen cuts to black and a shotgun sound plays, implying Mickey committed suicide on the spot. Afterwards, Mickey’s classic ending head appears (like in many old Mickey Mouse cartoons), with the suicidemouse.avi music box ending playing.
Gameplay and Mechanics
For most of the game, Mickey has to make his way home through the streets. The obstacle is more like a tower than just a street (with Mickey’s friends appearing too), and the player can use the up key to jump and move with the left and right keys.
At the start of the game, the player controls Mickey Mouse in this street-like obstacle. Mickey begins with a 100% sanity meter, with him being happy like usual and nothing seeming wrong.
During the game, Mickey’s sanity meter goes down by one each second, and the player can raise it using a few items. These include but are not limited to:
- Minnie’s bows
- Lights
- Higher blocks (most likely)
But some items decrease Mickey’s sanity meter instead, and these include:
- Nooses
- Minnie’s glitched bows
- Black water with skulls on the ground
Depending on Mickey’s sanity meter, several changes will happen:
- At 100%–80%, Mickey looks happy as usual, and nothing seems to go wrong. The background shows normal pixelated streets, with clouds that have happy faces. Mickey’s friends also appear happy and fine. The song playing during this sanity meter is Steamboat Willie from Mickey Mania.
- At 70%–50%, Mickey starts frowning and becomes melancholic, and his movement becomes slightly slowed down. The background becomes realistic and non-pixelated, and the clouds turn realistic (and no longer sentient). Minnie and Goofy look worried, while Donald and Pluto look slightly frustrated. The song playing during this sanity meter is a piano used in most suicidemouse.avi remakes.
- At 50%–30%, Mickey starts becoming insane and now has a very unsettling smile with jagged teeth and tiny eyes, and his movement becomes moderately slowed down. The background becomes distorted, buildings look like they’re weaving (but not animated), and the sky becomes static only. Goofy, Donald, and Pluto appear distorted and corrupted, while Minnie is still normal but horrified by what she sees. During this sanity range, the Black Rabbit may appear to attack Mickey to drain his sanity meter, too. The song playing during this sanity meter is a low-pitched sobbing noise used in most suicidemouse.avi remakes.
- At 30%–10%, Mickey’s face distorts further. His eyes either turn into static or grow several eyeballs, and he now has a wide, decayed, unsettling smile. His movements become sped up.
- At 19%–1%, everything stays the same as the previous sanity stage, except Mickey is now covered in blood (which shouldn’t even be possible since most rubber-hose/old cartoons were black and white), implying he might have murdered someone.
Russian text appears below, roughly translating to “The Sights of Hell draw its audience back.” Suddenly Mickey’s face distorts, screaming sounds play, and the words “HAPPY” and “NO TURNING BACK” flicker on screen.
Endings
After the player reaches Mickey’s house, the ending changes depending on how high or low the sanity meter is.
Good Ending
A gray background appears with Mickey looking happy, along with all his friends. Everyone seems happy, with the text saying:
“CONGRATS! YOU MADE IT OUT SAFELY! OH BOY!!!”
Neutral Ending
A gray background appears with Mickey still sad and frowning. All of his friends are absent. The text says:
“SOMETHING IS WRONG, LITTLE MICKEY?”
Bad Ending
This ending is much different from the others. The ending shows Mickey fully drawn and not pixelated. He has his hands in his pockets and turns his head toward the viewer. His face looks realistically disturbing, and he is covered in blood (his ears and shorts). The background is black with gray lights, and behind Mickey, the text says:
“SMILE”
The music is a screaming noise mixed with disturbing static instruments.
