Happy_Days_.exe is a Korean screamer application that gained notoriety in 2003. It is considered to be similar to the Win32.Flaghost malware, but its screamer image differs slightly from its predecessor.

When the application is executed, a black pop-up box appears randomly on the screen, displaying an edited version of the screamer image used in Gamemun alongside white-colored text that reads "^^ Happy days... please 5 seconds... to close."

Once 5 seconds have elapsed, the pop-up box disappears only to reappear randomly in an infinite loop, which continues until the computer is rebooted.

Examination of the file assembly reveals that Happy_Days_.exe's product name is "Scanregw," which is an attempt to deceive users into believing that the application is a registry scanner. The coding language used to create the application is Visual Basic 6.0 Korean, which necessitates the installation of the vb6ko.dll file on the user's computer for successful execution. It is notable that Happy_Days_.exe does not contain any scream or other alarming sound effects.
