Screamer Cactus (unofficial name) is a French shock site initially created by French forum user PyjamaSam, also called "0xad", and was first mentioned (indirectly) by the latter on April 7, 2012, on this topic on Jeuxvideo.com French off-topic forum Blabla 18-25 ans.
The site contains a picture of a man with a cactus inside his anus, with a very small amount of semen about to out of his penis, while an extremely loud version of the song The Cadillac Theory by Stupeflip plays in the background. The same .swf file that contains the audio also tries to trick the browser into opening endless pop-up tabs. A script in the source code of the site will also put the browser in full-screen mode and hide the cursor.
History
During the summer of 2012, the Screamer Cactus gained attention on Twitter during Twitter raids. In early 2016, a small team went on Twitch to trick people into opening the website during live streams.
On April 8, 2016, a Streamer named Takeru_46 opened the Screamer Cactus during one of his live streams. The site stayed on the broadcast for more than four minutes before he managed to close it.
