Lime Rave

Lime Rave was a shock site created in 2005 and hosted on the FreeWebs platform.

The site supposedly displayed a photograph of a man with an enlarged penis, and executed a script that shook the web browser's window upon loading the page. The image itself was allegedly shared on several different websites, although those specific sites have not been identified.

The original image was hosted on another FreeWebs page which was registered by an unidentified creator and launched sometime in 2005. The page remained active for approximately a year before being taken down by FreeWebs due to pornographic content violations in mid-late 2006. Since the Wayback Machine had only archived the markup portion of the page, the image was not saved and is currently considered lost to time.
