Ring.exe is a screamer application that was made by LTSoft in 2001 from China, the program was inspired by [[McDonalds.exe]] but it similar. the program's icon featured a picture of a bell with ribbons on it. when the program is lanuched, the screen goes black and it shows red chinese text on the bottom while the top is also chinese, some english text is also seen next near to the chinese text which reads: "Like the ring".

Ring.exe is a Chinese screamer application developed by LTSoft in 2001.

Payload

This text is displayed for about 45 seconds, and then displays a message from the developer, which disappears after about 5 seconds. Afterwards, it displays a fullscreen image of Sadako Yamamura from Ring at random intervals.
