Clownsong.com also known as Anal Stretching is a shock site hosted on LOLShock, originating in 2008. The site is quite bare-bones, containing only a description of the "work of art" its name refers to, and a video embed to the right of the text. After clicking the embed play button, the short, pornographic video begins. It shows a naked man in a bathroom, stretching his anus wide open while screaming in agony for about 24 seconds. The man appears to have what could be blood or feces running down his legs. The video used to have “clown music” (La Danse du Sabre) accompanying it (hence the title), but the site said that it was removed for "artistic reasons", as it "detracted" from the video's supposed core message; thus, the site calls the video it presents as "Clown Song version 2.0". It is comparable to Goatse, even if not as graphically disturbing.

An image taken from the shock site was later used by a rogue modder in the GMOD Glue Library incident.

Lucky Star incident

In 2008, the video was infamously shared on 4chan under the name KONATA.swf. It is the most popular and recognizable alias behind "Clown Song.", named after Konata Izumi from Lucky Star.[1]

A year later, a 22-year-old unemployed man, Yōsuke Ida, was arrested at his home after sending an online bombing threat against Kagami Yoshimizu. 2channel, the platform from which the man had posted his letter, further investigated the user's internet activity and later discovered he was the original poster of KONATA.swf, based on the given timeframe and identical IP addresses. A few other shock videos (including PhoneJapan.com) were found and posted with his IP address included. The news became public through Anime News Network, 47News, and the now-defunct Sankei Shimbun, who reported on the incident but chose not to include 2channel's inquiry that led to the arrest.[2][3][4] After 2channel's discontinuation in February 2014, the original research remained impossible to find, leaving out only surface-level information.Template:Citation needed
