The instruction.

Unlock the Mystery of May Shaw was a Liquid Generation Sabotage screamer promoting the 2007 supernatural horror film Dead Silence. The screamer was taken down along with the entire Liquid Generation website.

The flash starts with an opening cinematic, accompanied by images based on the movie, and narrated by a male voice: "Years ago, in the town of Raven's Fair, lived a dark and secretive woman by the name of Mary Shaw). She was a ventriloquist who tragically lost her voice, and when she died, it was said that the only ones who mourned for her were her dolls. Now, the legend goes that her spirit lives on in the eyes of her dolls."

Then the games show some instructions for the playable portion, which are also narrated: "Look closely at this wall. Every time one of the doll's eyes turns red, click the flashlight to drive away Mary's ghost."

The gameplay will start as soon as the narration is over, even if the player did not click the button yet. The game shows a darkened view of a shelf containing multiple ventriloquist dummies. Players are in control of a flashlight to help to illuminate the place. Every once in a while, a pair of eyes will pop up over one of the dolls, and the player needs to click on them, which will make the eyes and the doll disappear (though the eyes may re-appear in a place where it have already vanished).

As soon as the player clicks on their 5th pair of eyes, a close-up image of the ghost of Mary Shaw (portrayed by Judith Roberts) will appear, shaking and screaming at the viewer. Then the Liquid Generation Sabotage jingle will play without the cartoon ninja as in other Sabotages. Instead, it will show another advertisement for the same movie as it was seen on the title screen, with a link to the movie trailer and a button to play again. However, the actual movie was released on March 16, 2007.
