1 Guy 2 Spoons is a shock video depicting an unknown man scooping out his left eyeball using two spoons. 1 Guy 2 Spoons has many reaction videos to it on several video-sharing sites such as YouTube.
The origin of the video is partially unknown. The video most likely appeared in early 2009, since one of the first places it could have been seen was on the ShockSiteList of that year. The video went viral in 2009 and 2010, with several YouTube users filming themselves reacting to the clip. Later, around 2015 and 2016, the video gained attention again because of the Bestshockers.com page, generating another wave of reactions on YouTube.
After being mostly forgotten, 1 Guy 2 Spoons became relevant again in 2021 by spreading on TikTok, as it was featured in videos of things you shouldn't search for and went viral again.

In the 45-second video, a guy is shown putting a spoon to the top of his eye and trying to get it out of the socket. He then places another spoon at the bottom of his vision to try to get it all the way out. The video ends with his eye almost coming out of his skull. Many viewers believe 1 Guy 2 Spoons was staged and claim they don't see the eyeball in the video move around. Other viewers claim the video is accurate and can see the pupil focusing in and out.
Creepypasta
More attention was brought to the video after a creepypasta was written about it. which has since been deleted from the Creepypasta Wiki and moved to the Trollpasta Wiki for its low quality and perceived lack of scariness. The pasta largely just describes the actual video, but adds the twist of implying it has the supernatural ability to make people want to pluck their own eyes out with spoons. The narrator also name-drops other notorious shock videos, namely 1 Lunatic 1 Ice Pick, 1 Man 1 Jar, and 3 Guys 1 Hammer.
ScaryForKids also features a much less well known, although somewhat better written, creepypasta based on 1G2S with an identical premise.[1]

My mind tempted me to take my OWN eyeballs off with those spoons. I attempted to do it, but then I figured out that once I do that, I'll regret it and never grow another eyeball again. My dad saw me do it, but THANK GOD he stopped me. I was hesitating so much that I couldn't stop breathing. He asked me what the heck was wrong with me. I just replied by saying "Nothing". Why the fuck did I watch that for? Now I'm done for. I told everyone at school about the video, but they all laughed at me. It's like they never heard of the internet. But that's when something caught my eye (I don't mean that literally). There were police cars driving into the parking lots. A lot of officers were running into the playground. I followed them to see what's was going on. They were staring at a corpse of a 10-year-old girl, both of her eyeballs missing and blood coming down from her eye's sockets. Then I saw 2 bloody spoons next to her. Was she a 1 Guy 2 Spoons victim? I think so. Please, for your own sake, if you see a link that leads to 1 Guy 2 Spoons, DO NOT CLICK IT. Eyeball Pull
Eyeball Pull is a video similar to 1 Guy 2 spoons, except the person in the video, uses his fingers to pry out his eyeball. The video was supposedly uploaded to a website called heaven666.org sometime around 2005 to 2006 and was later uploaded by a user to Drewpickles.com on December 8, 2006. The person featured in Eyeball Pull has not yet been identified, and the page containing the video on heaven666.org was taken down and was never archived.
