DEATHDEATHDEATHDEATH Curse (Japanese: 死死死死死 呪い; Shishishishi Noroi) was a Japanese screamer website registered in 2012.
DEATHDEATHDEATHDEATH Curse (死死死死死 呪い, SHISHISHISHI Noroi) is a Japanese screamer website, registered on 2012, and hosted by Yamada, a Japanese male artist, The original screamer website has been replaced with a redirect to the main page which consist of paintings and artistic works.

When the webpage is opened, the page will be filled with the same picture of an old doll with her head tilted staring at the viewer, along with an extremely loud scream, noises, and a distorted scream. it selects all content on the page, the two sentences are "The curse has begun...huhuhuh..." (呪いは始まった・・・・・・ ククク) and "In 49 days you will...............................die" (四十九日後に...............................死ね).
The site featured a single page with a loud audio track reportedly sampled from an episode of Agatha Christie's Poirot and a static image of an antique doll with its head tilted. Some sources suggest this image originated from the opening sequence of the PlayStation version of the game Otogirisō.

Many people have concerned that the image can make them die in 49 days by just looking at it, that's what the text meant above, However, it is obvious that nothing happens when the 48 days passes.
Beneath the imagery, two Japanese phrases were displayed: "The curse has begun... hee hee hee..." (呪いは始まった・・・・・・ ククク) and "In 49 days you will... die" (四十九日後に...............................死ね). The 49-day timeframe is a reference to the [https://www.funeralgroup.com.sg/funeral-guide/things-to-avoid-after-a-funeral-buddhist-taoist#:~:text=Within%2049%20Days%20of%20Passing,period%20and%20resume%20normal%20activities. It was also featured in "検索してはいけない言葉 Wiki" which translated as "Words that should not be searched Wiki", the article states that when the user have typed the character: "死" 32 times in the search bar, it will appear as the third result, the article also states that the screamer was replaced in 2013 (which is already described above.)
The website gained significant traction on the Japanese imageboard 5channel and was featured on Must Not Search wiki. Users were warned that searching for the character "死" (death) repeatedly would surface the site as a top result. Technical warnings often accompanied the link, citing the potential for browser "freezing" and extreme volume.

DEATHDEATHDEATHDEATH Curse (Japanese: 死死死死死 呪い; Shishishishi Noroi) was a Japanese screamer website registered in 2012.

The site featured a single page with a loud audio track reportedly sampled from an episode of Agatha Christie's Poirot and a static image of an antique doll with its head tilted. Some sources suggest this image originated from the opening sequence of the PlayStation version of the game Otogirisō.

Beneath the imagery, two Japanese phrases were displayed: "The curse has begun... hee hee hee..." (呪いは始まった・・・・・・ ククク) and "In 49 days you will... die" (四十九日後に...............................死ね). The 49-day timeframe is a reference to the Buddhist mourning period, during which a soul is said to wander before transitioning to the afterlife. Despite the associated urban legend, no adverse effects were documented following the expiration of the period.

The original domain has since been decommissioned and currently redirects to Futaba Channel's placeholder.[2]
