In addition to this tribute, the game also includes updated graphics which include animated images. Of course, the concept of the game is very similar to previous versions; you’re tasked with guiding each character on each level through the maze to the finish line. But watch out! The new animation features may cause you to become distracted, or worse, may cause you to touch one of the animated objects. Doing so will end your game and you will be forced to start all over from level one. Maze Game 7 is a screamer game created by PlayScaryMazeGame.net for their maze game series, the player cannot cheat by clicking or dragging to skip the levels.
Unlike other maze games, this one has different designs and paths, as well as added enemies such as Goomba and others. It is similar to the original in that the player must maneuver around the path without touching the walls. The game claims to have five levels and a bonus level (which is the screamer itself). However, the game only has four levels in which the player must navigate through the shapes of a star, a mushroom, and a clownfish.
In the fourth and final level, the player takes control of Pac-Man and must avoid three ghosts while attempting to reach the goal. Sarah from The Exorcist appears just before the player reaches the end of the level, along with the same scream from The Maze. The game then asks if the player enjoyed the bonus level; this is essentially the same message that the player receives after being terrified by the scream in their maze games.
