Scary Maze Game Gold
Scary Maze Game: Gold Edition, also known simply as Scary Maze (as stated in the title), is a Flash game uploaded to Newgrounds by pzUH on August 8, 2009. It is similar to The Maze. Unlike the original game, which has three levels, this game has only one level, but it is much longer than any of the three levels in the original.
In the game, players use the mouse to navigate a tiny pink/red dot through a white maze with yellow walls, similar to the original Maze Game. If the player touches the walls, the level resets and the player is returned to the main menu. However, in this version, touching the walls triggers an image of Cheryl Williams from The Evil Dead, accompanied by the same scream used in Hey Arnold Hidden Subliminal Message and the text, “oooops...... you hit the wall......”. This can also be triggered if the player remains idle. Unlike the original Maze Game, in which the screamer appears almost at the end of Level 3, in the Gold Maze Game, it appears immediately. If the player manages to reach the goal, an image of a Pocong, an Indonesian wrapped ghost, from the 2008 Indonesian horror film Tali Pocong Perawan suddenly pops up, accompanied by both a male and a female scream.
