== GamePlay ==
In the game, players use the mouse to navigate a tiny pink/red dot through a white maze with yellow walls, similar to the original Maze Game. If the player touches the walls, the level resets, and the player is returned to the main menu. However, in this version, touching the walls triggers an image of '''Cheryl Williams''' from [[wikipedia:The_Evil_Dead|The Evil Dead]], accompanied by a loud female scream and the text, '''“oooops...... you hit the wall......”'''. This can also be triggered if the player remains idle.
The player uses the mouse to control a small pink dot through a white maze with yellow walls. And, just like the original Maze Game, the player will die and reset the level if they touch the walls. In the original Maze Game however, when the player touches the walls, they reset to the title screen and the screamer only occurs when approaching the goal of level three. In the Gold Maze though, a screamer will occur when the player touches the walls. An image of an elderly female zombie, likely from a movie, will appear with a very corny scream. A different screamer will occur when approaching the goal. The screamer shown this time is a rather disturbing image of a hooded man wearing a bloody and deformed baby mask. After both screamers the player can restart the game if they want.
Unlike the original Maze Game, in which the screamer appears almost at the end of Level 3, in the Gold Maze Game, it appears immediately.
If the player manages to reach the goal, an image of a [[wikipedia:Pocong|Pocong]] (a wrapped ghost) from the 2008 Indonesian horror film Tali Pocong Perawan suddenly pops up, accompanied by both a male and a female scream.

Scary Maze Game: Gold Edition also known as Scary Maze (in the title) is a flash game uploaded onto Newgrounds by pzUH on August 8, 2009, and it's similar to The Maze. Unlike the original maze, which had three levels, this game has only one, but it is much longer than any of the three levels from the original.

In the game, players use the mouse to navigate a tiny pink/red dot through a white maze with yellow walls, similar to the original Maze Game.
