You play Tails and you see the corpse of clone Tails was killed by spikes, and wonders how he survived the fall, and realizes he couldn't die and states that dead bodies make him nervous. As he ventures through a grey brick area, he sees the mirror and takes it and he founds a clone of Tails and his eyes turn red in a split second.
After Dr. Robotnik's diary ends, the gameplay begins, and players take on the role of [[wikipediaLTails (Sonic the Hedgehog)|Tails]] in Act I. During the game, Tails discovers the lifeless body of a clone of himself pierced by the spikes. Tails questions how the clone managed to survive the fall and felt discomfort in the presence of deceased bodies. While exploring a grey brick area, Tails stumbles upon a mirror, leading to the revelation of yet another clone of himself, causing his eyes to momentarily turn red.
 
Then, a message states that someone was glad that Tails is here and asks if he could play a little with an evil giggle.

If you fall off any cliffs fall into the ravine, Tails Doll.exe will pop up with a shriek and you go back to the beginning. After you venture through the level, you find Sonic, warning Tails that there's a trap, and a clone of Tails with red eyes pops up behind Tails and cuts to black.

As Tails continues through the grey brick wall area, he collects grey wings and navigates cliffs. Falling into the ravine triggers an image of [[wikipedia:Tails Doll|Tails Doll]], resulting in a startling shriek and sending Tails back to the beginning of the level (because of the fact he can't ''die''). During his progress, Tails encounters Sonic, who warns him of an impending trap. Behind Tails, a clone of himself with red eyes appears, and the scene fades to black.
Then, the message states that his courage was the only thing that keeps Tails alive, and that fact that he couldn't die. But the last message suddenly pops up and states "BUT THAT DOESN'T MEAN THAT I CAN'T KILL YOU!!!" with the same loud shriek with blood all over the black screen and static appears.
 
Then Tails was chased by a black bar behind him. If you touch the black bar will result in a screamer of Tails Doll.exe pops up the same shriek. After passing through many obstacles and going to an empty path for a while, the game suddenly interrupts with Tails Doll.exe's face with a laugh, asks if it's over, but states that you can't experiment with sunshine and reveals he's the god, and wants to play with Tails forever, and the game ends.

However, an abrupt interruption takes place, with a message proclaiming "BUT THAT DOESN'T MEAN THAT I CAN'T KILL YOU!!!" accompanied by a loud shriek, along with a black screen displaying blood and static.

Sunshine.exe is a creepypasta .exe game created by NovaWare on February 2nd, 2014. It is considered a sequel of what happened in Sonic2.exe but acknowledged further on the backstory. Sunshine.exe is followed by Insanity.exe.

Gameplay
