As players progress through the game, each time they score a goal, something strange happens in the background:

*2 points: Strange yellow ~~squares~~ flash in the background.

*2 points: Strange yellow dots flash in the background. A stretched-up image of the monster from the [[creepypasta]] Bad Dream flashes briefly, accompanied by a high-pitched screech.

*4 points: A creepy clown flashes briefly, accompanied by a maniacal laugh. The computer-controlled paddle palette becomes twice as large as normal.

*6 points: An edited image of a ~~girl~~ that might induce trypophobia appears. The background and paddle turn red and the ball becomes a skull.

*6 points: An edited image of a woman with black hair and a tape over her mouth that might induce trypophobia appears. The background and paddle turn red and the ball becomes a skull.
