Upon launching the application, the player is presented with an opening cinematic of [[wikipedia:Pokemon - Silver Version|Pokemon - Silver Version]]. The cinematic eventually leads to the main menu screen, where the player can choose from various options, including "continue," "new game," and "options." If the player selects "options," a message appears indicating that the option is not functional and prompting the player to ensure that there are no "cheat codes" in effect. If the player selects "new game," a message appears stating that "it is too late to start over". Therefore, the only option for the player at this point is to select "continue" to proceed with the gameplay. Upon selecting "continue," the game spawns the player in a frozen-like area, and after a few seconds, the gameplay resumes. However, the screen eventually cuts to a static display.

Choosing "options" prompts a message about non-functional cheats, while "new game" claims it's "too late to start over", leaving "continue" as the only viable choice. Opting for "continue" places the player in a frozen area, eventually leading to static.

During gameplay, the player can display their Heads-Up Display (HUD) to view information about their Pokémon. The HUD options reveal the player's six Pokémon, which include Typhlosion, Feraligatr, Meganium, Pidgeot, Tyranitar, and Lugia, all with 6 health. As the player progresses through a particular area in the game, each Pokemon gradually dies from frostbite, except for Typhlosion. The player then comes across a door that leads to a similar area, but with no static. This area contains a Pokeball, which the player can interact with. However, upon doing so, the screen freezes and static plays, leading to a surreal encounter with the legendary Pokemon, [[wikipedia:Celebi (Pokémon)|Celebi]]. During the encounter, the player is unable to take any actions, as Celebi uses the move "perish song," accompanied by static. The screen then fades to black, leaving the player to ponder the significance of the encounter and what it means for the rest of the game.

After Celebi's encounter, the player spawns into another area in a violet color scheme. The player has no choice but to navigate a small path in this area. While progressing through it, the protagonist starts to display messages such as "It's so cold..." and "Mother, it feels so cold...", with the final message being "I can never turn back". These messages appear as the area begins to darken and eventually fades to a black screen. The player then finds themselves in a completely white world, where they eventually encounter Red and engage in a battle with their Pokémon. The player's chosen Pokémon, Typhlosion, gradually loses health as it attempts to defeat Red's Pokémon. The final opponent in the battle is a frostbitten version of Pikachu. Despite the player's attacks, Pikachu manages to use the move "Pain Split," which results in the death of Typhlosion and Pikachu. The battle screen then cuts to Red, who is shown crying with severed arms and a bloodied body, as the words "It's over..." appear on the screen before cutting to black. A message then appears, stating "Pikachu used Destiny Bond," followed by an edited image of a Pikachu with spike-like teeth, no eyes, and a missing left ear. The application "restarts" and replays the opening cinematic. However, if the player accesses the main menu, a similar screamer appears, followed by a sequence of credits.
