kyoufunoyakata.web.fc2.com ("House of Terror") was a Japanese screamer website hosted by the web service FC2.

Website content

The site featured a dark, edgy design and provided various links to horror games, animations or GIFs. It included a clear warning: "Please refrain from watching if you dislike horror or have a weak heart." (恐怖作品が苦手な方、心臓の弱い方はご遠慮ください。) Most of the "screamers" on the site were popular in the Japanese and Chinese communities, including previously lost files such as Beach.swf.

Japanese screamers

• 4.swf - A close-up photo of a smiling woman wearing heavy makeup.
• 505swf01.swf - Features animated thunderstorms and a looping image of a woman. It is a very mild jump scare.
• 512kb_2451.swf - A fake loading screen for a non-existent game "Sister, Dress up, Forbidden House". After 15 seconds, it displays obscure Japanese text regarding Buddhism and death.
• banana.swf - Shows a bloodied, abandoned room. Clicking certain areas causes a masked person with a broom to appear with a loud scream.
• basket.swf - A low-angle shot of a basketball hoop that periodically flashes to a grayscale image of an eye.
• comeon3.swf - A clip of Samara Morgan crawling out of a TV, ending in a close-up of her eye.
• dance.swf - A copy of the Sunflower Dance animation (not Dance.swf by Kevin Ealy).
• hora.swf - Displays a small image of a door. After a period of suspense, a monster flies toward the screen.
• horror.swf - A low-quality video of a woman receiving a text message before a pale figure (from Madoka.exe) appears and blood splatters across the screen.
• kodomo.swf - A copy of Qoo.swf.
• momoju.swf - A slideshow featuring a blindfolded girl and themes of self-harm. After the text "The ugly beast inside her heart is....", it ends with a figure staring at the viewer. Based on a real-life criminal case.

Chinese screamers

• 200361122495119421.swf - Contains Chinese green-colored text and a suggestive photo of a woman. Clicking the image triggers a screamer featuring a screaming zombie woman.
