The game shows the player some pictures and asks them questions like "How many faces do you see?" At the fourth one, however, you can't go on, as the button to the next "illusion" is fake. After a while, a GIF of Sarah Novak from the The Exorcist appears and punches the screen followed by a still image of her.
The animation is a showcase of various optical illusions, such as the scintillating grid illusion, and the café wall illusion. The third and fourth images instead have to do with how many horses/faces the viewer sees respectively.

Every image has a "next" button at the bottom which allows you to advance to the next illusion. However, once the viewer reaches the fourth illusion, the "next" button stops working; it's a fake. Eventually, a GIF of Sarah Novak from the The Exorcist appears and punches the screen, followed by a still image of her.

Optical Illusions was a Flash animation developed by Jeremy Winterrowd in 2006.
