Fournine was a video made and published to YouTube by meat on March 28th, 2014. This video was part of an art group project known as Meatsleep, which first gained attention across the website 4chan and will reference a particular snippet later in the footage.
The video begins in a bathroom, where the door is shown closing on its own while faint beeping sounds play. It then cuts to a series of objects, accompanied by mysterious, unexplained noises. Briefly, a 4chan /x/ board reply appears onscreen before the video returns to showing the objects. The 4chan reply, featuring the phrase “sewnkin” with “newskin” highlighted, then reappears. Following this, the camera focuses on spelling out the word “sewnkin” letter by letter, with a soft music box tune playing in the background. After a while, the camera quickly zooms in on a boy’s darkened eye, accompanied by a sudden loud noise. It shifts back to the bathroom, where the door is now opening on its own.
