The game starts with a brief cutscene of a black figure walking, possibly Pikachu himself. The theme song plays in the background, but the cutscene is abruptly interrupted by a screen displaying [[wikipedia:Pikachu|Pikachu]] with black eyes, red pupils, and blood flowing from its eyes and mouth. This is followed by an image from the horror game [[Uchakip.exe]], and then the same screen with static and rotation. The game screen then goes black before displaying a series of characters, each with ominous red text representing their dialogue. Eventually, the screen transitions to the main menu, which is replaced by the words "THEY, WANT, YOU." Clicking any of these options leads to gameplay, where the player takes control of the protagonist Red in the fictional village of [[wikipedia:Lavender Town|Lavender Town]]. | |||
