YTMND, an abbreviation for "You're the Man Now, Dog", is an online entertainment site that hosts creations featuring tiles of images while looping sounds (or music) play in the background. YTMND has centered on the creation of hosted meme web pages. The site was founded by Max Goldberg in 2001, under the domain yourethemannowdog.com. However, the said domain instead leads to the original creation made by Max himself. The homepage can be redirected to ytmnd.com.
The site originated from Max Goldberg's original website, "yourethemannowdog.com", which was registered along with "dustindiamond.com" after seeing a trailer for the movie Finding Forrester where Sean Connery said, "You're the Man Now, Dog." The original site displays tiles of images of Sean Connery (at the 1999 Cannes Film Festival), along with a 3D text that says "YOURE THE MAN NOW DOG.COM", while a sound loop (taken from the film) recites the phrases "You're the man now, dog!".
Because YTMND existed at a time when screamers and shock sites were popular, it has since created a few, such as a famous Meatspin mirror, Ridin Spinnaz.
