Rouge.exe is a creepypasta game created by the game developer [J.B.M], the game was based on Sonic.exe and it's sequel. The game begins with the Sega logo appearing, but with a slow-motion sound. The game fades into the same disturbing Green Hill background from Sally.exe, and the game suddenly turns to static.

Gameplay

Act 1 (Not Perfect and Kindandfair)

The player now plays as Rouge the Bat as she appears in the same large grey ring that Amy went through in the predecessor. However, when Rouge touches the goal, a corrupted sprite of Amy Rose appears on the level, and the game freezes. After this, the game cuts to a prompt that restarts the game. Rouge then transports to Cream the Rabbit's stage "Kindandfair", and discovers Cream's mutilated corpse lying on the ground. However, as she runs through the spike wall, a corrupted sprite of Cream appears, and the game freezes again as it did in the previous level. After this, the game cuts to the same error screen.

Act 9

Rouge then finally teleports to the final stage, where she discovers Sally, who was crushed by the walls around her. Once she touches her corpse, the game freezes once more, and a corrupted sprite of Sally appears on the screen. However, instead of restarting the game, it cuts to the same level, and the screen slows and shrinks on Rouge. As the screen closes on her, the wall suddenly stops right above her head, preventing her from jumping. Shortly after, she encounters Sonic.exe, who immediately attacks her; the game cuts to the same flashing pictures of Sonic.exe appearing rapidly, accompanied by the same scream from its predecessor. Upon restarting the game, the player is redirected to a black screen. Here, Rouge was woken up by Sonic.exe, and a conversation between the two would begin in dialogue:

> ROUGE: What is wrong with me?
> SONIC.EXE: Calm down for me, now you are able to see.
> ROUGE: Sonic?, what have you done to me?
> SONIC.EXE: I am not Sonic anymore. and you won't be Rouge anymore.
> ROUGE: What are you talking about?

And Rouge was only to be forcefully turned into an EXE as she screams in defeat, followed by a fake "BSOD" (Blue Screen of Death) screen.

Act 1

The game shifts to Rouge.exe, who appears in the same HILL area that Tails encountered Sonic.exe, as Shadow the Hedgehog encounters her, who quietly sits on the ground, with her eyes closed. Rouge.exe then notices Shadow approaching her and pulls out a gun, shooting Shadow and killing him instantly, which triggers a respawning error screen, restarting the game once more. The game then suddenly pops up and transitions to the same scene where Knuckles is fighting with Shadow before the latter runs away from him, but as soon as Knuckles turns back at Rouge, the scene freezes as red eyes pop up for a split second. The game cuts to a darker version of the intro, with Rouge.exe appearing on the screen. She turns to face the player and appears right in front of them as the music abruptly stops. However, the game then cuts to another image of Rouge.exe, accompanied by the same scream from its predecessor, followed by Sonic.exe's laugh, before transitioning to static effects.

After the screamer, the game cuts to ominous messages on a black background, which convey "Do you really think, you can control ME," "Do you really want to play... ...again, [DESKTOP USERNAME]?" and "You are the NEXT!", and Rouge.exe pops up again, accompanied by a static effect appearing in the background. The game ends with the same game-over screen as its predecessor, with Rouge.exe and Shadow.exe, instead of Sally.exe, can be seen faded with the "Game On?" text flickers on the left, and the developer's name ([J.B.M]) on the bottom right corner of the screen, and the static appears on the background once again.

The game cuts to a dialogue between Rouge.exe and Sonic.exe, asking the latter how he is gonna be free, which Sonic.exe answers that it was another time, revealing that he was forced to be this way by the real one and that it is starting to grow and flow within him, feeding on him by encrypting the player's files on their computer, right after Sonic.exe uses last words, before cutting to four images of Sonic.exe, Sally's face with her eyes stiched and with a smile, Rouge.exe, and Tails Doll, until a flurry of screamer images appear repeatedly, in a fast slideshow fashion. They include:
