Mov0001.swf was a Flash screamer animation first posted in 2011.
Content
The animation loads a close-up image of Amy Peterson from Fright Night. It plays an extremely loud screech, the picture rapidly zooms in and out, and epilepsy-inducing borders flash black and white around the frame, all in a continuous loop. The same photograph exactly used in Zoeken.
Origin and history
The SWF was originally spammed across 4chan's /f/ board under the filename sexy_girl_strips.swf on February 9, 2011.[1] It was uploaded to the same board shortly after under the title MMD.swf, which stands for MikuMikuDance.[2] A copy of the animation was subsequently uploaded to inciswf.com—where the screamer file was renamed to mov0001.swf before quickly spreading to various Russian file-sharing websites.
On March 13, 2013, another file was uploaded to /f/ under the name sexy_girl_strips.swf. Upon opening, the file loads a different screamer of Jeff the Killer that rapidly flashes on screen, continuously alternating between its normal and color-inverted states. While structurally similar to the Fright Night variant, this SWF file is widely recognized as the earliest known origin of Anne.jpg, having surfaced a month prior to its use on Akk.li.
Searching for "mov0001.swf" on Google Chrome and pressing "I'm Feeling Lucky" used to redirect to this screamer, though this behavior no longer works.
