killerjo.net was a screamer website registered in 2009 by oganz32, also known as sunipeyk. The animation would first display blue text reading "The Maze" before quickly changing to a picture of Regan MacNeil accompanied by the looping, loud scream from The Maze and loops. The creator also had a YouTube channel for their website, named killerjo2.[1]
Registered in 2009 and hosted by a Korean user, the killerjo.net website initially contained a text boasting about its "super rare" domain and provided links to the creator's email.[2] However, in April 2009, the owner transformed the website into a screamer. A year later, the Tic-Tac-Toe zombie replaced the original animation, but no archives of this version exist. Nevertheless, proof can be found on the creator's YouTube account where they uploaded a video of the animated file.[1] The site later reverted to featuring Regan MacNeil, but the creator ultimately discontinued the website in 2010 due to multiple complaints. Subsequently, in May 2012, someone purchased the website's domain and removed the screamer. Interestingly, Google Trends reveals that the website achieved peak popularity in December 2010.
