BIGHTMARE
BIGHTMARE (Formerly titled PaRappa 2 - BIG - NIGHTMARE FUEL) is a screamer video uploaded to YouTube made by user SurrealBoye the Rapper on February 15th, 2017. The video is a loose recreation of one of the uploader's own PaRappa the Rapper creepypastas, which is in the video's description.
The video starts out with the North American box art for PaRappa the Rapper 2 placed on top of a darkened noodle background, this format was also used for one of the uploader's other videos, titled "PaRappa The Rapper 2 - B.I.G. BAD with Vocals"[1]. The video stays on this screen while the instrumental track for BIG when playing on the game's "GOOD" version is heard. However, throughout the video's runtime both an edited version of the screen used in the video and the instrumental track for the "AWFUL" version fade in.
The edited version of the screen consists of "creepy" edits, such as PaRappa's eyes and mouth being turned to black, his mouth being flipped upside-down, and the image having a red tint. Once the "AWFUL" instrumental is about to end and the edited picture is fully visible on screen, the saturation suddenly goes up, causing what looks like a red mist to be overlayed onto the picture. After this, the screen goes black.
Once the screen goes black, an edited picture of Guru Ant suddenly appears a few seconds later, with similar effects done to the edited box art picture, though lacking the red tint and with new sharp teeth added. As this picture is on screen, a heavily slowed down version of Guru Ant's dialogue when failing his level can be heard. After this, the screen goes black again until another picture shows up, in the new picture, PaRappa is seen with drawn tears below his closed eyes while an edited audio clip of PaRappa "crying" is heard.
After this second picture, the screen goes black yet again up until a red-tinted version of the Guru Ant image from before is shown jittering in both size and position. As the shaking image is on screen, the same scream from Luna Game 3 is heard, though coming a bit late. A split second during the end, an inverted picture of SurrealBoye the Rapper himself with "2017" written on his shirt in Impact font (image entitled "2017 guy" on the channel) is visible before briefly disappearing. Once this screamer ends, so does the video.
