Shafou.com was a screamer webpage registered on November 5th, 2009, hosted by Unknown maker, it has been circulating around the internet since 2012, the site is now currently parked in 2018, the website name is taken from a Chinese word, which translates to "scare you".
When opened, a close-up picture of Regan MacNeil is presented along with the same scream from The Maze, a few seconds later, the site subsequently reloads, and loops again frequently, when the user clicks on the image, the script will be activated which automatically share the website on the user's Facebook account, but if the user is not login, will redirect to the login page instead, the website involves Base64 obfuscated code, which makes it hard to actually guess it's a screamer.
History
In June of 2010, the entire content of the website was replaced with the screamer. There was also a link at the bottom of the page that directed to another website, shafou.net, which was a blog that showed multiple pictures of a girl with Chinese text. A snapshot from February 10th, 2016 can be found here[1]. Now, this link simply redirects to Shafou.com.
There is also a snapshot of Shafou.com from May 22nd, 2011, which can be found here[2]. It only contains colored Chinese text and links, which appear to lead to porn websites.
