Not to be confused with Scary.exe or Scary.

Scary was a screamer application written for MS-DOS computers by YouTube user acount134. The creator sent their trojan to YouTube user danooct1, who is well-known for showcasing malware.

When executed, an illustration of a dead woman from Scary Stories to Tell in the Dark appears on the screen. The trojan silently wipes the hard drive and CMOS so that the computer can no longer boot.
