How to Backwards Long Jump (BLJ) in Super Mario Odyssey is a screamer video originally uploaded to YouTube by Endromonus on October 29th, 2017. It disguises itself as a tutorial of performing the backwards long jump glitch from Super Mario 64 in Super Mario Odyssey.
The video starts with Mario wearing a Waluigi costume, as the narrator instructs the player to change his costume into his Mario 64 outfit. Mario then runs to the outside of Peach's Castle, stands there for a few seconds, and then long jumps away. Right afterwards, an image of Victim #1 (actually an edited photo of a cosplayer of Kyo, vocalist for heavy metal band Dir En Grey) from the creepypasta M A R I O pops up, accompanied by a brief and loud noise. The video ends after a split second.
The image in the thumbnail does not appear in the video and is taken from Super Mario 3D Land. The video's description reads: "You need the Mario 64 costume and hat to do this..."
