Dan's Gallery of the Grotesque was a shock site created in 1995 that hosted pictures of murders, dead bodies, perverse sex acts, and crime scene photos. It was the earliest shock site; and was created as a college project, but later got shutdown in 2001 before being apparently "mirrored"[1]. However, no such mirror can be found anywhere.
