It then used a function called playBall to move the windows around the screen. The page embedded a looping audio file called fsckyou.wav.mp3, which was a sample of a man screaming "HEY EVERYBODY, I'M LOOKING AT GAY PORNO!".
Upon opening, the website displayed a large "ENTER" button with an 18+ age warning and a link to the Kekma [[wikipedia:PeerTube|PeerTube]] site. The title of the page is "Our lawyer has informed us that we need a warning. So, if you are under the age of 18 or find this offensive, pleae [sic] leave immediately", which is a reference to the text on the front page of [[Goatse.cx]].

Prior to March 13, 2020, the video at the center of the site was a medical recording of pork tapeworm cysts being pressed from a human liver, and the background images went through various iterations. The most infamous pair was an image of interracial porn doctored to look like a man having sex with an exploded corpse, and a supposed movie prop of a zombie baby with a penis superimposed on top of it. This image was removed when the creator began having concerns that the source was a mislabeled medical image, rather than a prop. It was replaced by a dog being skinned and various other manipulated images.

TheRomanAtheist continued to post about the website on other subreddits, claiming it was a "roleplay" and "webcomic" site, though, for the most part, TheRomanAtheist role-played as a [[Wikipedia:Donald Trump|Donald Trump]] supporter who hated minorities.

In July 2020, search interest for Kekma.ga spiked once again. On the 22nd of July 2020, the kekma.ga domain was seized for obscene content, and the site moved to kekma.xyz. Kekma.ga had a link to their Discord server on the front page. However, the Discord server was banned after the link gained attention after being circulating on several other servers.<ref name=":0" /> The link was later changed to kkkekma@protonmail.com, then changed to stumpgrinder.info, and finally to tube.kekmahub.com.
The title of the page is "This is my LastMeasure, my FinalHope. Lovez and kissez from Zeikfried~!", and pressing ALT+F4 or the Ctrl key spawned an alert message with the same text. However, pressing the Del key spawned credits identical to that of Nimp.org, except the Last Measure version is listed as 3.3.  


It contains the same ModelessDialog code comment as Procreator.php. However, Zeikfried actually utilizes ModelessDialog, unlike Procreator,php.  
The website then shut down a second time, as the kekma.xyz domain was seized by [[wikipedia:Namecheap|Namecheap]], who claimed that the site contained "support of violence." This was very likely due to a series of [[TikTok]] videos falsely claiming that Kekma had secret political extremist and [[wikipedia:Satanism|Satanism]]-related training sections, and used subliminal messages to cause violent thoughts. After kekma.xyz was closed, the site moved to the .net domain.

In July and August 2020, Kekma.net continued to spread, although the website was no longer at its peak of popularity. On August 24, an anonymous user started a thread on [[4chan]]'s [[wikipedia:/pol/|/pol/]] board about the website, claiming that there were "no nu-right larpers there," and many other users continued to mislead political communities into visiting the site.

An archive from April 2005 shows that the page contents no longer contain any window-spawning payloads or code comments. It has the text "HELLO THIS SICKENING GAY PORNOGRAPHY THAT WILL CRASH YOUR BROWSER IS NOT HERE YET PLEASE BARE WITH ME XXX" in first-level header tags and an image called XAXAXA.jpg below it. The title was also changed to "LOL PLACEHOLDER", which suggests that this iteration was merely a placeholder for things to come. It is unknown if any changes were made to the site after this point.  
On September 11, 2020, a 41-minute video titled "The Kekma.net Movie" was released, and embedded on the site, below the entry button. It is a collaboration between multiple members of the Kekma.net community. It contains several YouTube Poops, various parodies, offensive jokes, and statements about the [[Wikipedia:September 11 attacks|September 11 attacks]]. The video ends with a picture of [[Wikipedia:Osama Bin Laden|Osama Bin Laden]] and the text "THIS MOVIE IS DEDICATED TO THE BRAVE MUJAHEDDIN FIGHTERS OF AFGHANISTAN."<ref><nowiki>https://tube.kekmahub.com/w/uYeF1NKTETMNRh1UCCMSt3</nowiki></ref> from the 1988 live-action film ''[[Wikipedia:Rambo III|Rambo III]]''. On October 6, 2020, the Kekma Crew created another [[shock site]] called [[WomensAlliance.xyz]], which was similar to Kekma.net. The website was created from the scraps of a previous plan called "BrownAction", a site intended to look like a race activism website, but was ultimately abandoned as the original design proposed would likely require malware to function, transforming it from an annoyance to a crime.


The website continued to grow, with the site having a peak Alexa rating of 277,995 in December 2020 globally, and a rating of 125,404 in the United States. On the day of its closure, Kekma.net had an Alexa rating of 930,135, showing that the site had lost its original popularity.<ref><nowiki>https://www.alexa.com/siteinfo/kekma.net</nowiki></ref>


Last Measure utilizes [[wikipedia:JavaScript|JavaScript]] functions such as the <code>onmouseover</code> and <code>onclick</code> functions to ignore pop-up blockers and spawn windows containing shock images to move and bounce around the viewer's screen.  
In late June 2021, BitChute banned FartMeister, the channel where all Kekma videos were located, and several other Kekma-related accounts. Later in August 2021, the kekmachannel was moved to tube.kekmahub.com. In 2022, with the permission of the original Kekma [[hosts]], a mirror called "kekma.live" was brought up. Later, a donation link was also posted there. This site is not owned by the Kekma Crew, who have a policy against asking for money of any kind.


Some people claim that Last Measure contains actual malware, though this is false, as the script of the website does not download any kind of software on the viewer's device, and the site can be closed by using Task Manager or by resetting the affected computer. Some web browsers such as Internet Explorer or other IE-based browsers may handle the website very poorly and cause the entire device to crash.

On February 16, 2022, Kekma.net reached 30 million visits, and the creator removed all shocking content from the site after three years of operation. The site's content briefly changed to a message explaining that the site had served its purpose, which was to study how a shock site can spread across the world with no advertising budget on the modern internet. The creator encouraged people to make their own website to replace Kekma.net. Despite the shutdown of Kekma.net, the two community websites, stumpgrinder.info, and tube.kekmahub.com, remain active. Twelve days later, on February 28, Kekma.net's hosting provider completely removed the site. Kekma.net then changed to a video on tube.kekmahub.com.

Kekma.net was later restored in October due to popular demand. In spite of having been shut down for most of 2022, Kekma.net continues to find itself on ban lists and filters, having more recently been filtered by Cisco.

Spread and history

The earliest known post about kekma.ga was made by YouTube user Crocnic, who commented on the link on a YouTube video.[4] Another post was made by u/SinfulPrince on r/Teenagers calling the website "cool and free."[5]

A flag reminiscent of the Kekistan and Wehrmacht flags were also created around this time and became the de-facto flag for the website. The flag has a picture of Big Chungus in the middle, a swastika in the corner, and the text "WE HATE NIGGERS" and "FREE SEX AT KEKMA.GA." The flag's colors were taken from the Gabonese flag, as Gabon is the owner of the .ga top-level domain.

Later posts came in the form of a brigade by u/TheRomanianAtheist, who first advertised the site on r/Adulting and titled the post "THE HOTTEST REDDIT ALTERNATIVE" and simply posted the link to the shock site multiple times. TheRomanAtheist continued to post about the website on other subreddits, claiming it was a "roleplay" and "webcomic" site, though, for the most part, TheRomanAtheist role-played as a Donald Trump supporter who hated minorities.

After March 2020, the website's popularity died down. However, in June 2020, r/The_Donald user u/ProtectWhites role-played similarly to u/TheRomanAtheist and spammed Kekma.ga on Reddit.[6]

In July 2020, search interest for Kekma.ga spiked once again. On the 22nd of July 2020, the kekma.ga domain was seized for obscene content, and the site moved to kekma.xyz. Kekma.ga had a link to their Discord server on the front page. However, the Discord server was banned after the link gained attention after being circulating on several other servers.[2] The link was later changed to kkkekma@protonmail.com, then changed to stumpgrinder.info, and finally to tube.kekmahub.com.

The website then shut down a second time, as the kekma.xyz domain was seized by Namecheap, who claimed that the site contained "support of violence." This was very likely due to a series of TikTok videos falsely claiming that Kekma had secret political extremist and Satanism-related training sections, and used subliminal messages to cause violent thoughts. After kekma.xyz was closed, the site moved to the .net domain.

In July and August 2020, Kekma.net continued to spread, although the website was no longer at its peak of popularity. On August 24, an anonymous user started a thread on 4chan's /pol/ board about the website, claiming that there were "no nu-right larpers there," and many other users continued to mislead political communities into visiting the site.

On September 11, 2020, a 41-minute video titled "The Kekma.net Movie" was released, and embedded on the site, below the entry button. It is a collaboration between multiple members of the Kekma.net community. It contains several YouTube Poops, various parodies, offensive jokes, and statements about the September 11 attacks. The video ends with a picture of Osama Bin Laden and the text "THIS MOVIE IS DEDICATED TO THE BRAVE MUJAHEDDIN FIGHTERS OF AFGHANISTAN."[7] from the 1988 live-action film Rambo III. Shortly after the release of the movie, Kekma.net was blocked in Russia, and some other countries.[8]

On October 6, 2020, the Kekma Crew created another shock site called WomensAlliance.xyz, which was similar to Kekma.net. The website was created from the scraps of a previous plan called "BrownAction", a site intended to look like a race activism website, but was ultimately abandoned as the original design proposed would likely require malware to function, transforming it from an annoyance to a crime.

The website continued to grow, with the site having a peak Alexa rating of 277,995 in December 2020 globally, and a rating of 125,404 in the United States. On the day of its closure, Kekma.net had an Alexa rating of 930,135, showing that the site had lost its original popularity.[9]

In late June 2021, BitChute banned FartMeister, the channel where all Kekma videos were located, and several other Kekma-related accounts. Later in August 2021, the kekmachannel was moved to tube.kekmahub.com. In 2022, with the permission of the original Kekma hosts, a mirror called "kekma.live" was brought up. Later, a donation link was also posted there. This site is not owned by the Kekma Crew, who have a policy against asking for money of any kind.
