Alaskan Black Snake was a shock site made sometime around 2006 by an unknown user.

The site featured a fabricated news story about a fictitious species of snake supposedly discovered in the Yukon Hills in central Alaska. The site gained attention for its controversial content, as it displayed an image of a penis afflicted with a sexually transmitted disease, rather than an actual snake.

There was text of the fabricated news story on the page that users were meant to copy and paste onto other websites to trick other users to enter the site.[1]

The site was active until it got taken down in June 20th, 2007, and the site no longer accessible. Despite its removal, an archived version of the site can still be found on a Wayback Machine archive. While the original shock image featured on the site was not preserved due to poor archiving, the rest of the site remains intact, rendering the shock site partially lost.
