HIDDEN MESSAGE! Can you spot the difference? HIDDEN MESSAGE! Is a 35 second bait and switch screamer video uploaded to YouTube on July 21st, 2008 by the user dangfurious. The video starts with a black background and white underlined text that asks if the viewer can spot the difference. 5 seconds into the video the text changes and goes on to explain to the viewer that there is a hidden message that when spotted will change the viewers life. The text disappears and changes to an image of the painting Emperor Napoleon I on His Imperial Throne side by side with the same painting with no changes to it. At 28 seconds into the video it switches to a close up face of the Gemmy Halloween animatronic with a loud, shrill scream that repeats until the video ends.
There is an alternate version of this video titled "Find the difference ( not for children)", which was posted by RinashnoTV on November 7, 2011. In this version, a picture of Katie Embry from The Ring pops up at 13 seconds, accompanied by the same scream used in Sonic.exe.
