Herobrine.com was a screamer webpage with a misleading domain name that tricks the user into thinking the website was about Herobrine sighting or any stuff that relates to it, the website is specifically a mirror of Shafou.com. The website contained an animated file of Regan MacNeil from The Exorcist, while the same scream from Winterrowd games plays.
The creator was revealed to be snsunzhen, the same creator of Shafou.com.
History
The earliest archive state shows GoDaddy's parked site in late-2012, In March 2014, the site now changes into a blog created by a chinese person, stating about his experience on his first job.[1] In December 2014, the website changes into another blog which contained a text stating: "Hi, I am Chinese, Born in 1989, Male. I want to go to the US Travel, But My Tourist Visa(B2) Did Not Pass, Who can help me?". [2]
However, someone else got the website domain and turned it into a screamer by adding a redirect to Shafou, leaving people who visited the website in shock, In 2017, the website now uses the image of her instead of using the .swf file. The website, as a screamer, is now closed, along with Shafou.com, Though as of 2021, the domain has been acquired again and simply shows a photo of a QR Code from Alipay, which is a Chinese third party online and mobile payment platform (see image).
According to ICANN Lookup, the current hoster of the site lives in Toronto, revealing its nationality as Canadian.
Variant
The website also has a variant called: "Herobrine.96.It", it was hosted by an italian user, this, of course, presents the similar content like the original site, However, the script was provided to lock the MP3 sound file at 50%. There is a title that states: "ORA MORIRAI" which translates as: "NOW YOU WILL DIE", However, this site was closed.
