It's Screamer Wiki's 5th birthday? WHAT!
Today marks the fifth birthday of the Screamer Wiki, which originally started as the ScreamerChecker Wiki on November 11th, 2013!
We honestly never thought this wiki would get that big and I'm super glad to have been a part of this project! We've even got the chance to come in contact with a few legends, such as Jeremy Winterrowd (creator of the Scary Maze Game and Winterrowd.com) and the two brothers Adam and Brad Johnson, stars of the K-fee commercials. Preeeetty damn sweet. (ง'̀-'́)ง
We're doing something a bit special for this occasion. I want you to tell me two things: Number one, your favourite screamer(s); and number two, how you found the Screamer Wiki. Can't wait to know all your stories!

Congratulations to the Site. I like it here because it DISMISSES several Jumpscare, but not visibly showing the video in regards to those who do not like to take scares, like me. And I hope to grow here more and more.
But please, let's create assorted screamers, as more than half of the content here are screamer straight from YouTube videos, where almost all YouTube videos are screamer equal. A little quality will help attract more people, I guarantee.

Happy Birthday to the Screamer Wiki!

I discovered the Screamer Wiki, after that "User:Ganerer: List of Computer Pranks" on Wikipedia went extinct, and was curious to see'f there were any other direct archives of all screamers on the Interwebz.
Favourite screamers? Anything by Liquid Generation, the K-Fee Ads, Subliminal Music & Images, and of course, anything by Winterrowd.

I'll have to agree with Ponkenstein here, my favorite screamers are the K-Fee commercials (if I had to pick one, probably "Meadow") and Liquid Generation's Online Hunting and Pin the Tail on the Donkey, as well as most of the other Sabotages. They were pretty creative in capturing the viewer's attention, by pretending to be legit flash applications (as they were common back then) and hitting the viewer with a jumpscare that fits the theme of the flash. Much better than most modern YouTube screamers, which just use a clickbait title and a random jumpscare, or even Regan MacNeil for the millionth time.
Honorable mentions go to Say It, Good Intentions, Rabailkal Hypnotic Experiment 1 and Caroline.swf, which was the first one I ever saw. And if NES Godzilla Creepypasta qualifies as a screamer, I guess that belongs up there as well.
I don't remember how exactly I first found this wiki, but I used to read up on screamer prank descriptions on TVTropes (and before that, Wikipedia) before knowing about this place. I must have stumbled upon one of our articles that way, probably while trying to do further research on a particular screamer.
