So Intimidating!!! (Chinese: 好刺激啊!!!; pinyin: Hǎo cìjī a!!!) is a screamer webpage hosted on coolce.com, a Chinese personal digital assistant resource website, as a prank around 2002.
Origin
The screamer page was located under the path /web/kongbu.htm.[1] Links to this page appeared as early as on March 2002 on the homepage of the website. On the navigation bar under the website title, the last two items pointed to the screamer page:

Both links also had unique tooltip messages that read:
圣诞快乐!去看看吧,本站特制,一定让您忘不了!特别建议:一个人在半夜时看,有特别的……
Merry Christmas! Go check it out, this page is specially designed by us and you will definitely not forget it after viewing! Special suggestion: view it alone in the middle of the night, there'll be something special...
Content
Upon opening, /web/kongbu.htm displayed a GIF of a pale woman's face with blinking red eyes and blood dripping down the corner of her mouth. An audio file of woman's maniacal crying and laughing sound played in the background. Under the image, there was text in a red font that read:
耐心点哦!您是第<Access Counter>位!刺激吧!后背凉了吗?
圣诞快乐!由 http://www.coolce.com 特别制作!
In addition, an embedded JavaScript code made the webpage window fly across the screen.[2] However, this behavior could only be observed on old versions of Internet Explorer.
Spread in Japan
This screamer gained popularity in Japan alongside Crazy Ghost. However, due to the encoding mismatch between GB 2312 and Shift-JIS, the Chinese text became garbled. As a result, this screamer is known as 挫缶爾亜[3] (サカンナンジア, sakan'nanjia) in Japanese circles,[4] which is likely the corrupted version of 好刺激啊 and has no meaning in either Chinese or Japanese.
