REMEMBER: Always follow the rules. If you violate any of the rules, you will get a warning. If you repeat two more times, you will be banned from the wiki. If you vandalize the wiki, you will be banned without any warning!
Creating or editing a page
- Do not create unrelated or spam pages. Please use either the forum, the chat, or your user blog to communicate with other users.
- Never use any scary images or clickable links directly to the website. You are allowed to use un-clickable links.
- Do not give any false information, but only facts.
- Use correct grammar and spelling, write in English. If this rule is violated, your account won't get banned.
- The page name must always be the name of the screamer site, without www. or http://.
- Do not delete content on an existing page.
- If you create a page, don't forget to add it to the Screamer Library.
Good practices
- Delete any scary images, videos or clickable links that go directly to the website and replace them with un-clickable links.
- If you see someone violating any of the rules, tell them by using this template and fix the page.
- If you see someone vandalizing the wiki, fix the page and contact an admin.
- If you see any grammatical or spelling mistakes, correct them.
- If you see any false information, correct it.
- If there are missing categories, add them.
- If an article is not present in the Screamer Library, add it.
How to use categories
There are a lot of categories on this wiki and new ones are constantly being added.
Each page needs a category for TYPE, CONTENT, MAKER and CREATION DATE.
TYPE CATEGORIES
- Screamers - please specify the type of screamer.
- Animations - add this category if the screamer is an animation, this also includes GIF and Flash.
- Applications - add this category if the screamer is an executable program or application.
- Clips - add this category if the screamer is a video (found on any site).
- Comics - add this category if the screamer is an animated comic.
- Games - add this category if the screamer is a game.
- Websites - add this category if the screamer is a link or webpage that contains an instant jumpscare.
- Shock sites - add this category if the website contains disturbing images.
- Harmful websites - add this category if the website can damage your computer.
- Spam and scam - add this category if the website contains spam or is scamming people.
If your page does not fit into any of these categories, please contact an admin.
CONTENT CATEGORIES
- Screamers - please specify the content of the screamer.
- Exorcist - add this category if the page is about a screamer containing Regan MacNeil, also known as the Exorcist.
- Fright Night - add this category if the page is about a screamer containing the zombie woman from Fright Night.
- Jeff the Killer - add this category if the page is about a screamer containing Jeff the Killer.
- Katie Embry - add this category if the page is about a screamer containing Katie Embry.
- Other scary images - add this category if the page is about a screamer containing a scary face other than the two listed above.
- Shock sites - please specify the content of the shock site.
- Graphic content - add this category if the page is about a website containing 18+ images.
- Pornography - add this category in the page is about a pornographic website.
- Gore - add this category if the page is about a website containing gore.
If your page does not fit into any of these categories, please contact an admin.
MAKERS
CREATION DATE
- Add the year that the screamer was created as a category.
OTHER CATEGORIES
- Closed websites - add this category if the page is about a website that does not exist anymore.
Please add this line of code at the top of the page source in any of these pages. You can learn how to do this with the Styling Guide.

- Nice articles - awarded to nice articles. (only admins and moderators are allowed to add this category)
- Work in progress - add this category if the page is incomplete, needs more information, or has to be reworked.
