Mario gets up and looks at the doll, but suddenly, it appears shaking right in front of the screen, accompanied by flashing lights and the same scream from [[The Maze]]. Right when this happens, Mario's body disappears, leaving only his hat behind with a yellow substance underneath it, and the music stops. After the screamer, the screen fades to black, and the video continues playing as normal as the next entry is shown.
