When the application is launched, it begins with the main menu screen, features a game designation, a start button, and a quit button, pressing the enter key will start the main gameplay

You started out as playing Mario in a simplistic platform level with the same soundtrack used from the game, you are able to jump and kinetically circumvent utilizing the arrow keys. the player has to pass across the obstacles by utilizing the simple route by pressing the UP key to jump over them. after you keep going, the soundtrack commences playing static noises, then ceases immediately as soon as the Princess Peach appears, whenever you physically contact or get more closer to her, will result in a mundane-image of CDI-Peach (from the cutscene of Hotel Mario), after 5 seconds. a close-up picture of peach with Zalgofied eyes appears, accompanied by a loud scream. now the world and the background is all red. the player has to pass all the obstacles. if you fall down, now you're stuck in the darkroom only containing Goomba, if you get more closer, Goomba will consequently explode, then fades to an image of Mario staring right in front of the player, which tells that their computer will perpetually get possessed. the application closes its own after 5 seconds.
Despite its name, the game plays like the traditional ''Mario Bros'' games - though a remixed version of the main menu theme from Hotel Mario plays as the BGM. The only controls involve the arrow keys for moving and jumping; the movement speed is notably slower than would otherwise be expected. The game has pretty crude graphics: Mario has a whopping 6 frames of animation in total, three for his walking animation (the game doesn't allow running), two for his jump, and one for his surprised reaction.

Eventually, Mario will come across 11 mushroom platforms, and will encounter Peach after getting past them. Once the player gets close enough to Peach, static noise will interrupt the BGM, followed by complete silence. At this point, touching Peach will result in a normal-image of CDI-Peach from the ''Hotel Mario'' cutscenes for up to 10 seconds, at which point the world will suddenly change into a dark, red version, and Peach's image becomes Zalgo-ified. This persists for another 9 seconds, where the image zooms in, showing Zalgoified Peach's eyes accompanied by a loud scream.

With the jumpscare now over, the player still has to progress through the game, which isn't far from its end. Shortly after "meeting" Peach, Mario will come across 10 pillar-like platforms that lead to a flat, long terrain. However, the terrain isn't a real platform, and so Mario will fall through it.

This leads into a completely black room, only containing a trembling, visibly scared Goomba. Should Mario get close, it'll explode, with the blood and bones effects from the old ''Mortal Kombat'' games. The game subsequently crashes. Trying to relaunch the application leads to an image of CGI-Mario, and an extremely slowed-down audio clip plays while displaying the final message: "''Mario is dead. It is too late.''" CGI-Peach's jumpscare appears right after, crashing the game once again, and generating two final text files. These involve messages that have to do with the game's lore.

Mario, shortly before falling into the darkness.

Hotel Mario 6 is a screamer game based on Hotel Mario, developed by ConsScripts, published on Gamejolt in August 2014.

Gameplay

Despite its name, the game plays like the traditional Mario Bros games - though a remixed version of the main menu theme from Hotel Mario plays as the BGM.

At this point, touching Peach will result in a normal-image of CDI-Peach from the Hotel Mario cutscenes for up to 10 seconds, at which point the world will suddenly change into a dark, red version, and Peach's image becomes Zalgo-ified.

Should Mario get close, it'll explode, with the blood and bones effects from the old Mortal Kombat games. The game subsequently crashes. Trying to relaunch the application leads to an image of CGI-Mario, and an extremely slowed-down audio clip plays while displaying the final message: "Mario is dead. It is too late." CGI-Peach's jumpscare appears right after, crashing the game once again, and generating two final text files. These involve messages that have to do with the game's lore.

Malicious Scripts

After the final jumpscare, an image of Mario with red eyes flashes every few seconds, with a laughing clip playing on occasion. The app will also repeatedly open and close the disc tray to annoy the user.
