Ghost in the London Dungeon
Ghost in the London Dungeon is a commercial from the United Kingdom to advertise the attraction of the same name (The London Dungeon).
The commercial begins with a text that reads:
“The footage you are are about to see is absolutely genuine and was captured by CCTV cameras at the London Dungeon. Look very closely and you will see a mysterious ghostly figure. The video has been thoroughly analysed by experts but they have so far offered no explanation as to what it is.”
In the next scene, two fuzzy separate security camera images are present with the words "MAIN EXT JACK ENT" on the left and "PRIS DR" on the right. The timestamp "05:59:50" and the date "20-11-04" are displayed at the bottom. The image goes fuzzy for a moment and the time advances to "10:09:41". There's also what appears to be a janitor holding a broom walking out of range of the camera on the left.
After 34 seconds, when the time reaches "10:10:40", an man with long white hair, black teeth and rags jumps up directly toward the camera. His face almost takes up the whole screen, and he yells out, "DIAAAAAAAAARG!". He then continuously stares at the camera with his mouth wide open, and then, he recedes and lies down offscreen. Afterward, another text appears that reads: "Did you spot it?" Then immediately after the text fades, the attraction logo is shown.
The earliest upload of this on the Internet was to YouTube on January 2, 2006, by ryan93280. Many people have used this commericial's screamer over the years, including Nuclear Bomb Test in the Pacific Ocean, and has also inspired a commercial called Ghost caught on camera at Warwick Castle.
