Pnrtscr.com is a screamer website that utilizes typosquatting to deceive users into believing that they have accessed prntscr.com, a well-known screenshot hosting website. To add any digits following "pnrtscr.com/", the URLs for screenshots on prntscr.com contain 6 digits.
Upon entering the website, users are presented with a cookie banner that requests acceptance in order to provide "relevant information". When accepted, the website transitions the browser into full-screen mode, showing a flashing image of Jeff the Killer (as seen in Anne.jpg), and accompanied by an extremely loud, metal-like sound. The screamer still appears even if the user declines the cookies. Matthew Rowland is the creator of the website, and he confessed on Reddit (particularly on the subreddit r/screamer) that he created it as a way to produce a modern jump scare. He also provided details about the script he used to make the website.[1]
