Basement Ghost (also known as "Ghostly Picture!") was a 30-second long Flash screamer that was uploaded to the defunct web hosting service GeoCities in 2002 by a user named patlee_69. The site in which this screamer was hosted on can only be accessed through the Wayback Machine.
The animation shows an extremely grainy photo of a dimly-lit basement. Nothing else happens until 22 seconds pass, when suddenly, a cutout of a zombie from the 1981 horror film The Evil Dead flashes onscreen for a single second over the basement image alongside a high-pitched, echoed scream.
