NotYouTube.com was a bait and switch shock site created by an unknown user in 2006. As the domain suggests, it's not YouTube; when accessing the domain, an image of a whale's penis appears, followed by text stating "This site isn't YouTube. It's a picture of a whale's penis". In 2007, the site was updated to include a link to the site owner's email address (what@notyoutube.com). The site was eventually shut down in 2011. As of March 2026, the domain was taken over by typosquatters.
