'''Matsuyama Kyowa Hospital''', also known as '''Matsuyama Dokuhara''' is a series of [[shock sites]] launched in early 2020. The [[websites]] were created out of deep-seated resentment toward the actual medical institution of the same name. They feature a collection of graphic content, obscure messages, and targeted insults directed at the hospital’s director, Yuichiro Oka.
'''Internet Explorer.exe''' was the first [[screamer]] [[game]] in the form of a [[shock site]] created and published by MattTheGameMaker on [[GameJolt|Game Jolt]] in 2015.
==Hospital information==
[[File:Its just a japanese hospital why are you reading this.png|thumb|left|150px|A photograph of the nearby Matsuyama Kyowa Hospital from [[wikipedia:Matsuyama, Japan|Matsuyama, Japan]].]]
''Matsuyama Kyowa Hospital'' is a medical center in [[wikipedia:Matsuyama City|Matsuyama City]], [[wikipedia:Ehime Prefecture|Ehime Prefecture]]. It is in the [[wikipedia:Tachibana|Tachibana]] area, run by a local co-op, and very close to [[wikipedia:Iyo-Tachibana Station|Iyo-Tachibana Station]] (伊予立花駅からすぐ近くにあります). The hospital has 78 beds for patients who need long-term care or help getting better. Doctors there focus on internal medicine, surgery, and bones.
==Investigation==
==Gameplay==
At first, people started talking about the [[shock site]] a long time ago in a thread on a Japanese [[website]] called ''[[wikipedia:LiveDoor|LiveDoor]]'' on February 3rd, 2020.<ref>web.archive.org/web/20210414015045/https://kowasugiru.blog.jp/archives/40066257.html</ref> Even though the website hasn't been fully investigated yet, many people on the internet finally found a social media post from February 4th, 2020, which was posted by someone with the name @nanashi43044_2 from [[Twitter]].<ref name="shuuus">shuuus.net/matsuyamadokuhara/</ref> Inside this post, the person clearly said that they had called a hospital to find out if the site was real, and they also said that a formal check was being done at that exact time.<ref name="mustnotsearch">web.archive.org/web/20250717075849/https://w.atwiki.jp/mustnotsearch/pages/3571.html</ref><ref>/web.archive.org/web/20200205111044/twitter.com/nanashi43044_2/status/1224906405691310080
</ref><ref name="shuuus" /><ref>dic.pixiv.net/a/松山協和病院</ref> Still, even after <s>five</s> six whole years have gone by, no one has ever been able to take any legal action or punish the creator.
The game opens to an ''[[wikipedia:Internet Explorer|Internet Explorer]]'' homepage from 2015. The moment the player tries to type into the fake search bar, an image of a decomposing, diseased cow pops onto the screen. Below it are images of self-harm, such as wrist cutting, alongside other images that reference or imply it. A loud, clipping noise begins playing in the background. As the sound abruptly cuts out, ominous red text flashes: "SO..." followed quickly by another message above it: "I HEARD YOU LIKE RESEARCHING!" Before the player can react, a color-inverted image of a [[wikipedia:September 11 attacks|9/11]] jumper's corpse rapidly strobe-flashes on the screen. Eventually, a distorted humanoid arm lunges forward, shattering the glass before the screen dissolves into white noise, abruptly ending the game.
These "harassment" [[websites]] moved around very often because many people kept reporting them to many different internet companies.<ref name="mustnotsearch" /> While some of the most site's content including animal abuse and generic [[shock sites]] (including [[Goatse]], [[Tubgirl]], etc.) were eventually taken away, the people who made the site on purpose used a company called Somee International Inc. because it was a very cheap way to keep their website running.<ref name="shuuus" /> Several Japanese users also sent messages under the hospital's [[wikipedia:Google Reviews|''Google Reviews'']] warning users about the existence of such site.
==Internet Explorer 2.exe==
[[File:Internet Explorer 2.png|thumb|200px|Desktop screen]]
[[File:Internet Explorer icon 2.png|thumb|200px|An icon design for ''Internet Explorer 2.exe''.]]
''Internet Explorer 2.exe'' serves as a sequel to ''Internet Explorer.exe'', though its exact release date remains unknown.
A few internet detectives discovered website's path to be a country far away from Japan. However, these clues are very hard to prove for sure; unless the computer server is run by a small person in another country. In this case, if the person who made the site just used a public [[wikipedia:Wi-Fi|Wi-Fi]] or a computer cafe, then it becomes almost impossible to find where the data really came from.<ref name="mustnotsearch" />
The program initially displays a mock-up of a ''[[wikipedia:Microsoft Windows|Microsoft Windows]]'' desktop. It presents a crudely drawn landscape as the wallpaper, featuring an ''[[wikipedia:Internet Explorer|Internet Explorer]]'' icon. Clicking the browser reveals a homepage with news articles and stock images seemingly cut off from the first game.
Debating of the site's purpose, many people think the creator might be a person who keeps bothering others by making many fake [[websites]] to hurt people's names. One common idea is that the person used to work at a company but was let go. In this story, a boss at a firm thought this person was malicious and decided to fire them; then, because they could not go to a real court, the person made these hateful and hidden websites to get back at them. Some people who are watching the case also say that the creator likely spent a lot of time on [[Must Not Search]] wiki, because the site has many things that are just like what is found there.<ref name="mustnotsearch" />
Once a search query is entered, the results page loads, showing a search input for "yourself" alongside corresponding images. After a short while, two red, rotating disks resembling eyes appear, accompanied by a loud scream. The screen cuts to black briefly before displaying a gruesome image of a person lying down with a disfigured face, revealing the inside of their head (similar to [[Cherrycake.org]]). Finally, the screen cuts to black once more, flashing the player's screen name in red as the program deletes itself from the desktop and ends the game.
People on the internet have slowly made their list of suspects smaller until only a few people are left. Some people really believe that the person is Hiromu Asami, a man who used to run [[Must Not Search]] and who supposedly posted on the [[wikipedia:5ch|5ch]] board. Strangely, the article for "Matsuyama Kyowa Hospital" was made prior to the Livedoor investigation but the wiki's intended design prevents anyone from checking the revision history for confirmation.<ref name="mustnotsearch" /> Other people think it is a person called Kenpo-kun, because they saw that the website has a name very similar to his own blog, which is called Matsuyama Dokuhara. Even though Kenpo-kun eventually made a [[Twitter]] post (which he later deleted) to say that he did not do it, people still keep talking and guessing about the connection between them.<ref name="mustnotsearch" /><ref>x.com/kenpo9w9/status/1903111697474392518</ref>

T''Wikiwiki'' is presented as a "review" but functions as satire or a bizarre protest. The author displays a hostile, eccentric tone, stating: 「一切合切凡庸なあなたじゃ分からない松山ドクハラ口コミですが、なにか? ("''It's a Matsuyama Doctor Harassment review that an absolutely mediocre person like you wouldn't understand, but so what?''")
He directs his ire at medical malpractice, warning visitors: "Be careful of hospitals and doctors like this! Making heartless remarks and actions to patients and their families. Doctor harassment... deep darkness."
"''Sorry for being on hiatus for quite a while... School has been getting in my way. Lots of stuff'' <nowiki>[</nowiki>[[wikipedia:Sic|sic]]<nowiki>]</nowiki> ''have been getting in my way.''"
The site explicitly warns visitors: 一部の画像はスープおじさんでも出るようになったので注意 ("Caution: Some images now feature 'Soup Uncle' as well"). ''Soup Uncle'' refers to a graphic photograph from [[Rotten.com]] depicting an elderly man who passed away in a hot bath, resulting in advanced decomposition.<ref>w.atwiki.jp/mustnotsearch/pages/741.html
Another line of text, located above the play button, reads:
</ref> The text also contains a description of the "[[wikipedia:Junko Furuta|Concrete high school girl murder case]]", detailing her 44-day imprisonment and torture by four minors in Adachi Ward. Her corpse was buried down in concrete after she was killed from a gruesome torture.
The author begins to show his own personal despair and absurdist threats. He explains: "''I have despaired of everything in this country called [[wikipedia:Japan|Japan]]. I have no regrets left. Tomorrow at 6 AM at Matsuyama Doc-hara Hospital, I will do the Nubejonnuzojonberumittisumogeronbo gymnastics. You absolutely cannot stop me heehee lol.''" "''This is a big game... With a loading screen!''"
===Somee===
After clicking the play button, the screen changes into a loading screen. After a few seconds of "loading", it opens a web browser and redirects the user to the original webpage of [[Anne.jpg]]. A short while later, another website opens, linking the user to a Photobucket page from a user named Hypercomp01, featuring an image collection of people in vehicle accidents.<ref>s39.photobucket.com/user/Hypercomp01</ref>

The [[website]] prominently displays incredibly long strings of nonsensical text and [[wikipedia:swastika|swastika symbols]], additionally including some bizarrely taunting Japanese phrases: "I'm messing around [spinning kaomoji noise] 'I am looking for fun Matsuyama Kyowa Hospital reviews' How fun [gibberish kaomoji taunting sound]" (ふざけます三└(┐卍^o^)卍ドゥルルルルル「私は楽しい松山協和病院口コミを探しています」楽しいなホアヨダリツm9(^Д^)9mプギャー). Furthermore, the text eventually adds up to a mock phone call to the police regarding the hospital's director Yuichiro Oka with excessive laughter: "Hello lollllll Is this the police? lol [creepy wheeze] Actually lol the Doc-hara [Doctor Harassment] Yuichiro Oka is lollol Huh? This site features scrolling, rainbow-colored text, plus rambling English claims about "Kenpo-kun" and his alleged stalking throughout the page. <ref>reddit.com/r/DeepIntoYouTube/comments/1ewlev2/kenpokun_a_japanese_youtube_channel_that_has/</ref> Kenpo-kun is the creator of the infamous edit of [[Jeff the Killer]] with multiple eyes from [[YouTube]]. <ref>https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=3L9EzyuTab0</ref> Every section of the page contains multiple medical accusations, significantly including but not limited to the following claims.
==Nothing is going to hurt you.exe==
[[File:Nothing is going to hurt you.png|thumb|right|200px|A black screen message from ''Nothing is going to hurt you.exe''.]]
''Nothing is going to hurt you.exe'' was another [[shock site]] [[game]] by MattTheGameMaker, released on an unknown date.
The creator repeatedly complains about a severe disconnect between the hospital's public image and its secretly private actions: "The massive gap between the public face of respecting human rights and the hidden face that repeatedly violated human rights. Yuichiro Oka's heart of darkness" (人権尊重を掲げる表の顔と、人権侵害を繰り返していた裏の顔のあまりの落差落差。岡祐一郎心の闇 協和病院【松山協和病院】).
After opening the game, two red lines of text appear across a black screen, forming a full sentence that reads: "''Shhh... Relax. Nothing is going to hurt ye<nowiki>'</nowiki>'' <nowiki>[</nowiki>[[wikipedia:Sic|sic]]<nowiki>]</nowiki>". Almost instantly, the web browser forcibly opens and redirects the player to [[2 Kids 1 Sandbox]]. After closing out the window, the game suddenly opens another one, which features an edited image of Mr. Bean with no eyes and blood splattered all over his face, before ending with a redirect to the [[Anne.jpg]] screamer.
They levy heavy accusations of workers' compensation fraud and legal violations, while mockingly attacking the staff members: "Workers' compensation fraud [Legal violation] Brats who don't even know workers' comp have stinky heads lol Fraudulent insurance billing, a classic medical occurrence lol" (労災保険詐欺 【医師法違反】労災保険も知らないガキ頭臭すぎ(●´ω`●)wwwwwww 保険の不正請求医療あるあるww).
==Virusinstaller.exe==
Targeting specific doctors, the author brands Oka an "incompetent perverted scum" who only makes situations increasingly worse: "Yuichiro Oka, who only makes matters worse by doing unnecessary things" (余計なことをしてかえって事態を悪化させてしまう岡祐一郎).
youtu.be/m_sQftg_NPg?t=373
Furthermore, the author questions the hospital's leadership by asking who would ever make such an incompetent person director: "Who made this incompetent perverted scum [Yuichiro Oka] the director? This hospital must be really short on people lol" (誰よwこんな無能な変態クズを院長にしたのはw よほどこの病院人材不足なんだな). The creator uses the local tourism slogan to further mock the hospital through various fabricated news updates quite frequently: "Matsuyama Medical Cooperative, 'Welcome to Matsuyama, the city of hot springs, castles, and literature' - Matsuyama Kyowa Hospital Reputation" (松山医療生活協同組合、「いで湯と城と文学の街、松山市へようこそいらっしゃいました」松山協和病院 評判). They aggressively insist their reviews are genuine experiences, although they are clearly not promotional or staged reviews: "Real user reviews and testimonials, not staged or promotional. [Those with stinky brains who can't understand the accusations are pathetic lol - search]" (ヤラセや宣伝ではない本当に体験した口コミ 評判【告発を理解出来ない頭の臭い人かわいちょかわいちょww検索】).
==Trivia==
*Contrary to popular belief, the homepage for ''Internet Explorer.exe'' is actually believed to be from ''[[wikipedia:Microsoft Edge|Microsoft Edge]]''.
The author then invents graphic quotes accusing the doctor of sexual harassment while appearing as an unhinged doctor: "A pervert doctor (which obviously refers to Oka) └(՞ةڼ◔)」 appeared!!" (変態医師└(՞ةڼ◔)」があらわれた!! 『スケベ検診...). These unhinged statements are deliberately switched between copy-pasted sections of the hospital's actual "Patient's Bill of Rights" (患者の権利章典). They include sentiments about nurturing and cherishing life in accordance with the medical cooperative's spirit for the community: "In accordance with the spirit of nurturing and cherishing life, and disciplining oneself for that purpose, as embodied in the medical cooperative's 'Patients' Bill of Rights'..." (医療生協の「患者の権利章典」の、いのちをはぐくみ、いとおしみ、そのために自らを律するという精神に則り...). Additionally, they claim to value each individual's life within the familiar environment of their home and local community: "We value each individual's life so that they can live in a way that suits them within the familiar environment of their home and community..." (住み慣れた家庭や地域の中で自分らしい生活ができるように一人ひとりの生活を大切に考え...).

Beyond [[shock sites]], the webpage contains references to the tragic [[wikipedia:Higashi-Ikebukuro runaway car crash|2019 Ikebukuro runaway car crash]] incidents. The creator repeatedly pastes emails sent to the surviving husband, Takuya Matsunaga, while taunting him about his family. This relates to an incident where the [[wikipedia:Tokyo Metropolitan Police Department|''Tokyo Metropolitan Police Department'']] referred a girl for prosecution. She was suspected of sending abusive emails to the [[wikipedia:Matsuyama City Hall|Matsuyama City Hall]] in [[wikipedia:Ehime Prefecture|Ehime Prefecture]]. Two taunting emails against Matsunaga read: "Are you sad that your wife and child died? lol... Shall I kill you? lol." ([https://www.asahi.com/ajw/articles/14573653 99% it's the creator's made up sociopath fantasy, the original incident is linked here])
The page features copied-and-pasted comment threads from [[Must Not Search]] wiki regarding an audio clip of Anago-san. After noticing the wiki discussing their site, the creator pasted those very comments back into their own code.<ref>w.atwiki.jp/mustnotsearch/pages/171.html</ref>

''kyoto'' features an opening message directed at Yuichiro Oka through a mocking phrase: "The fun Yuichiro Oka-kun and the fun Matsuyama Kyowa Hospital that repeat irresponsible responses" (【無責任対応繰り返す楽しい岡祐一郎くん楽しい松山協和病院】). The author additionally insults individuals by claiming they search for "maggots who pretend to be commentators making local Matsuyama fun" (松山観光「私は地元の松山を楽しくするご意見番気取りの蛆虫を探しています」). These aggressive messages are repeated across the site to relentlessly harass the individuals labeled as "maggots" by the creator.
This section displays comment threads from the [[Must Not Search]] wiki regarding the [https://ja.wikipedia.org/wiki/市川一家4人殺害事件 1992 Ichikawa Family murder case] (市川一家4人殺害事件). These posts discuss the death penalty for Mitsuhiko Seki, while the site additionally features [[3 Guys 1 Hammer]] and cartel videos. Furthermore, the page includes descriptions of [[wikipedia:Junko Furuta|Junko Furuta]] and various Japanese [[shock sites|pornographic videos]] regarding [[wikipedia:BDSM|BDSM]].
The creator shares a real address in [[wikipedia:Matsuyama City|Matsuyama City]] in [[wikipedia:Ehime Prefecture|Ehime Prefecture]] to potentially dox Dr. Oka. The author started doing this because their posts are being removed from the internet and they mockingly celebrate this news. They tease the doctor with a phrase: "[Good News] The fun criminal scum Yuichiro Oka who repeatedly requests deletions" (【朗報】削除依頼を繰り返す楽しい犯罪者クズ岡祐一郎). The author targets legal experts who help the hospital, specifically complaining about lawyers who profit by deleting content from sites.
They claim the hospital is breaking the [https://www.jqa.jp/english/safety/service/mandatory/pharmaceutical/ Pharmaceuticals and Medical Devices Act] through various "secret marketing" tactics. The site uses fake error messages to scare users by claiming that a fatal error occurred in a nonsensical language. This message states: "Because a fatal error occurred, the language setting will be changed to Nubejon-nuzojon-berumittisu-mogeronboyo language" (深刻なエラーが発生したため、 設定言語をヌベヂョンヌゾヂョンベルミッティスモゲロンボョ語に変更します).

The site uses specific keywords to attract traffic from search engines. This includes strings of text like: “Matsuyama Festival Matsuyama City [[wikipedia:5ch|5ch]] reviews reputation Motorcycle Man [[Must Not Search|Words You Shouldn't Search]] wiki". The "Motorcycle Man" (モーターサイクル男) in question refers to another infamous [[shock image]] of a man's face blown off from [[Rotten.com]] titled ''Motorcycle.jpg''. The page includes comment logs from this wiki dating up to 2022. The code also mentions a particular [[shock image]] called Girl in the Bathroom found in a bathtub: "Girl in the Bathroom" (少女浴室), a decomposing corpse of a woman found from an apartment in China. <ref>w.atwiki.jp/mustnotsearch/pages/516.html</ref>
Hidden in the site is a [[malicious]] ''[[wikipedia:JavaScript|JavaScript]]'' loop that forces users to click a button ten times. Because of a loop in the code, the user cannot close the box and must force their browser to quit. Another pop-up script sends users to the [[shock website]] ''unforgettable.dk'' if they try to cancel the redirecting process. For example, the website also exploits [[wikipedia:HTML|HTML]] attributes and background loading, ensuring that a massive volume of media files processes the moment the page is accessed. The creator tries to hide various files by setting their dimensions to zero (クリエイターは、サイズをゼロに設定することでそれらの外観を隠蔽している), using the code <code>width="0" height="0"</code> to secretly load and play high-bandwidth, graphic files in the background
The site suddenly triggers a line of hidden sounds and flashing images. While most files link back to the domain ''matsuyama.helioho.st'', the creator uses mirrors such as ''kubomana.bsite.net'' to host specific files like ''poriaki.mp4'', which is cluttered with a huge number of graphic [[GIFs]] and [[videos|video files]], including ''0.gif'', ''000.gif'', ''0000.gif'', ''00000.gif'', ''000000.gif'', ''0000000.gif'', ''00000000.gif'', ''000000000.gif'', ''0000000000.gif'', ''01.gif'', ''00000001.gif'', ''7.gif'', ''95.gif'', ''500.gif'', ''2.mp4'', ''4.mp4'', ''5.mp4'', ''6.mp4'', ''8.mp4'', ''21.mp4'', ''22.mp4'', ''24.mp4'', ''25.mp4'', ''26.mp4'', ''27.mp4'', ''28.mp4'', ''45.mp4'', ''66.mp4'', ''98.mp4'', ''99.mp4'', ''22227.mp4'', ''poriaki.mp4'', which are all part of this coordinated harassment for shock value. There is also a button that redirects to (possibly) a [[wikipedia:zip bomb|zip bomb]] file titled 42.zip.
Every code ends with a reference to [[Must Not Search]] wiki. It remains unclear if the author intended for the site to be documented as an article for said wiki, hence one of the site's name is "wikiwiki".<ref>https://w.atwiki.jp/mustnotsearch/?cmd=word&word=これは作り物だぞ&pageid=1583</ref>

The old [[website]], hosted on ''megalodon.jp'' in 2020, displays familiar messages alongside new content regarding various political connections. The author links the hospital directly to the [[wikipedia:Japanese Communist Party|Japanese Communist Party]]. For instance, Medical Co-ops from Japan often have long historical ties to various left-leaning movements throughout the local community. The creator highlights this party connection to suggest that ideology is more important than medicine at this specific facility. He labeled it as "Black Hospital" to warn patients to stay away because it frames the clinic as an unfair and exploitative workplace. The site includes photos of several people from the hospital, including a picture of someone who is (perhaps) Yuichiro Oka attached next to [[Jeff the Killer]].

Internet Explorer.exe was the first screamergame in the form of a shock site created and published by MattTheGameMaker on Game Jolt in 2015.
The game opens to an Internet Explorer homepage from 2015. The moment the player tries to type into the fake search bar, an image of a decomposing, diseased cow pops onto the screen. Below it are images of self-harm, such as wrist cutting, alongside other images that reference or imply it. A loud, clipping noise begins playing in the background. As the sound abruptly cuts out, ominous red text flashes: "SO..." followed quickly by another message above it: "I HEARD YOU LIKE RESEARCHING!" Before the player can react, a color-inverted image of a 9/11 jumper's corpse rapidly strobe-flashes on the screen. Eventually, a distorted humanoid arm lunges forward, shattering the glass before the screen dissolves into white noise, abruptly ending the game.
Internet Explorer 2.exe

Internet Explorer 2.exe serves as a sequel to Internet Explorer.exe, though its exact release date remains unknown.
The program initially displays a mock-up of a Microsoft Windows desktop. It presents a crudely drawn landscape as the wallpaper, featuring an Internet Explorer icon. Clicking the browser reveals a homepage with news articles and stock images seemingly cut off from the first game.
Once a search query is entered, the results page loads, showing a search input for "yourself" alongside corresponding images. After a short while, two red, rotating disks resembling eyes appear, accompanied by a loud scream. The screen cuts to black briefly before displaying a gruesome image of a person lying down with a disfigured face, revealing the inside of their head (similar to Cherrycake.org). Finally, the screen cuts to black once more, flashing the player's screen name in red as the program deletes itself from the desktop and ends the game.
Hiatus.exe
Opening screen of Hiatus.exe.
Hiatus.exe was a continuation of shock site-related games similar to Internet Explorer.exe.
Hiatus.exe features a play button and black screen text reading:
"Sorry for being on hiatus for quite a while... School has been getting in my way. Lots of stuff [sic] have been getting in my way."
Another line of text, located above the play button, reads:
"This is a big game... With a loading screen!"
After clicking the play button, the screen changes into a loading screen. After a few seconds of "loading", it opens a web browser and redirects the user to the original webpage of Anne.jpg. A short while later, another website opens, linking the user to a Photobucket page from a user named Hypercomp01, featuring an image collection of people in vehicle accidents.[1]
Nothing is going to hurt you.exe

Nothing is going to hurt you.exe was another shock sitegame by MattTheGameMaker, released on an unknown date.
After opening the game, two red lines of text appear across a black screen, forming a full sentence that reads: "Shhh... Relax. Nothing is going to hurt ye' [sic]". Almost instantly, the web browser forcibly opens and redirects the player to 2 Kids 1 Sandbox. After closing out the window, the game suddenly opens another one, which features an edited image of Mr. Bean with no eyes and blood splattered all over his face, before ending with a redirect to the Anne.jpg screamer.

Trivia
Contrary to popular belief, the homepage for Internet Explorer.exe is actually believed to be from Microsoft Edge.
MattTheGameMaker created and released most of his games featuring gore and pornography, but a few years later, he deleted them (along with Internet Explorer and its sequel) out of remorse.
Due to a coding error in Internet Explorer 2.exe, an Apple logo suddenly flashes a split second after clicking the icon.
