News Reporter's Shocking Death on Live Television is a bait-and-switch screamer video uploaded to the YouTube channel "CemeterialCentral", which was ran by Sump on July 3, 2016.
The video starts with a clip from the Brazilian news program Como Será, where host Sandra Annenberg is seen talking. After she says "Tomara que a Julia seja muito feliz com a escolha dela" (Translation: I hope that Julia will be very happy with her choice), she inadvertently trips on a bench and falls. Then, a close-up image of the titular character (Pennywise) from the 1990 miniseries It pops up, accompanied by a distorted variant of the Loud Nigra sound effect. The video has been deleted with no existing archives, although it appeared in the 2016 video.
There is an alternative version in which Pennywise's face is replaced with that of a gray-skinned face with a wide-open mouth, no eyes, and small, sharp teeth, taken from Daneboe's “Scarier Faces” video. It is accompanied by the same scream from The Maze.
Due to being one of the videos used in 2016, it was notably searched by "DiscoverGuy1999" and a few other users. User Jupiterbloxobjectshow eventually identified the source on May 12, 2023, resulting in the first remake and an updated 2016 remake. The first few frames of this remake were taken from 2016, since the source that the user found was missing part of what was seen in the original. An updated remake was then created by "Agatha the Object Thingy", recovering the rest of the frames.
