OSFirstTimer Blue Scream is a screamer software application developed by Philip Joseph Adams, known online as OSFirstTimer. Created in 2012, the application mimics a malfunction in Windows to surprise the user with a startling jump scare.

When launched, the program initially displays a fake Windows 7 Blue Screen of Death (BSOD) to give the impression of a system error. After a short delay, the screen shifts to black, presenting a simulated "System Reboot" screen. As the progress bar reaches 100%, the screen displays the message "Cannot Find Boot Device..." and then prompts with, "Press any key to reboot and select proper Boot Device or Insert Boot Media in selected boot device."

Each press of any key results in the message "Can Not Find Boot Device" repeating until the message appears four times. Following this, an image of Pazuzu suddenly flashes on-screen with a loud, frightening scream, borrowed from the popular screamer Sonic.exe. The application then automatically closes without (unlike other screamer malwares documented) causing any permanent damage.

The screamer was originally made as a prank for OSFirstTimer's mother in a YouTube video titled "Mum Tries Out Windows ME (2000) [Prank Included]". OSFirstTimer reported that the original version of the screamer was created in 2010 but remained private until 2012, when it was released to the public after the video gained recognition.
