'''Faroe Islands''' is the name of a PSA (Public Service Announcement) made in 1989, by the [[wikipedia:Whale and Dolphin Conservation|Whale and Dolphin Conservation Society]]. The PSA concerns itself with the Faroe Islands and the sadistic attitudes of its islanders toward pilot whales and dolphins.  


It starts with an animated camera pointing the earth to the view, which will appear a large groups of pilot whales and dolphins. they have claimed the islanders began looking and preparing their special homecomings to increase the volume.  
It starts with a view of the Earth, zooming in until the sea and some islands are in view, representing the [[Wikipedia:Faroe Islands|Faroe Islands]]. It then shows waves of pilot whales and dolphins moving toward the islands, with the islanders noticing and preparing themselves to slaughter them. The animation then proceeds to a montage of the islanders killing the whales with hooks and knives, cutting them open while they are still alive and swimming, and having a lot of blood splash over the view while whales squeal in the background. The narrator makes a point of mentioning how the more the animals suffer, the more the islanders enjoy it.


However, after a close clip, the islanders will kill whales, including lots of blood, accompanied with high pitched screams, the ad fades with this logo.  
The final scene shows the corpses of the whales, most of them laying on the beach sand, and the ad ends, showing the logo of the society.
