Cam Closer II
Cam Closer II is a screamer video uploaded to YouTube on May 13th, 2023, by David F. Sandberg on the ponysmasher channel. This video has accumulated 776,885 views as of 2024. A sequel to the short film titled, Cam Closer was uploaded on April 24th, 2013.
The video starts off with the title "Cam Closer II" appearing at the bottom right corner of the screen. Just like the previous film, it features Lotta Losten, sitting at a dining table while scrolling through her phone when she hears an unusual noise. She gets up to check her living room, only to find nothing there. However when she sits back down, her phone buzzes with a notification about someone being spotted in her house. She checks the camera and sees a ghostly woman standing in the living room. Confused, she gets up and slowly walks into the living room, but finds nothing, the ghost remains visible on the camera. She tries to touch it while checking her phone to see if she's making contact but gets suddenly interrupted by a "scam likely" phone call from Jacksonville, FL, causing her step back.
When she checks her phone again, the ghost is gone from the camera but a few seconds later, it startlingly pops up right in front of the camera. Later, she lifts her phone and sees the ghost standing in front of her bookshelf. She slowly steps back, and on her last step, the floor creaks, causing the ghost to move slightly. She retreats further until she reaches a staircase, possibly leading to a basement. As another strange noise echoes through the room, she checks her phone once again and she sees the ghost slowly crawling towards her. Suddenly, a terrifying girl with no eyes abruptly appears and lunges in front the viewer. She screams in fear, the screen goes dark, and the credits appear, ending the video.
