:Because they literally control the internet, and they only seem to show certain websites and de-rank other websites. Specifically, Google, will very much promote big social media sites, big news sites, eCommerce sites, and spam sites, while leaving smaller and older sites in the dust. They also seem to rank people lower if they don't use google ads. | |||
