It is a psychological thriller game that uses various psychological evaluations and tests to assess the player's personality and mental state. The game is set up as a mock psychological exam, where the player takes on the role of a test subject undergoing a battery of tests and questionnaires.  


Despite its name, the game plays like the traditional Mario Bros games - though a remixed version of the main menu theme from Hotel Mario plays as the BGM. The only controls involve the arrow keys for moving and jumping; the movement speed is notably slower than would otherwise be expected, The game has pretty crude graphics: Mario has a whopping 6 frames of animation in total, three for his walking animation (the game doesn't allow running), two for his jump, and one for his surprised reaction.
The game consists of a series of tests, each of which measures different aspects of the player's personality and mental state. The tests include a personality test, a Rorschach inkblot test, a memory test, and a spatial awareness test.
