Scary Mario Commercial is a screamer video uploaded to YouTube by user thejoweefan on March 16, 2008.
It starts by showing white Windows Movie Maker text on a blue background reading: "one day when i was checking my e-mail my screen froze..then this video appeared.....mario i will never look at you the same way again!" Then, the Super Mario Sunshine commercial plays. In the top left-hand corner, the “Unregistered HyperCam 2” watermark stays on the screen for the duration of the video. The video itself is very low quality and crusty. The commercial finishes, and for a short second, the old “Video Done” screen from early YouTube pops up. Then, the zombie from the K-fee commercial pops up with a loud scream. Then, some more text on a background reading: "Now...Go Change Your Shorts And Get Back to Work!". This video was also talked about in YouTube NickTendo’s video about Nintendo mascot commercials.
